Roll Groove Fitting

Roll groove fittings join pipework using a grooved end and a mechanical coupling rather than a welded or threaded connection. On a water truck that matters, because a grooved joint can be pulled apart and reassembled with hand tools, which turns a spray line repair or a pump change into a job that can be done on site rather than back in the workshop. The coupling also allows a small amount of movement at each joint, which helps when a chassis mounted system is flexing and vibrating over rough haul roads.
